Museum Admission
Discover a story of American music at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.
The Birthplace of Country Music Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, tells the story of the 1927 Bristol Sessions recordings and how these led to Bristol becoming known as the birthplace of country music. Through a variety of exhibits, including interactive displays, film and audio experiences, and historical objects, visitors gain a greater understanding of the significant role of Bristol in music history. The museum also regularly presents educational programs, concerts, jam sessions, film screening, guest lectures and additional events. Join us as we explore the birth and evolution of country music and see its impact on music today.
