This necklace is made my local artisan Kathryn Jenkins. Kathryn describes her adventure in jewelry creation a "reinventing oneself" experience. As her interest, knowledge, and sills have evolved, she now describes her focus as handcrafted copper, brass, and silver jewelry, often with natural stone or glass accents. She enjoys metalworking techniques including enameling, etching, wire weaving, and fold-forming. She often also combines metal with fiver pieces (mostly locally sourced hand-dyed Alpaca roving) to create something special and unique.
